Will it be sixth time lucky for ninth seeded Andrey Rublev? He takes on Frances Tiafoe in the US Open quarter finals hoping to reach his first Grand Slam semi-final. The Russian has lost five quarter finals including two in New York. He is in his second successive Grand Slam last eight having got to the quarter finals at Roland Garros. Rublev can move up to seventh in the live rankings if beating Tiafoe. That would be four places higher than his ranking at the start of this tournament.
