Andrrey Rublev is one of the form picks at the moment and he takes on seventh seeded Alexander Zverev in the Australian Open last sixteen. Rublev has made a great start to the new year having won the warm-up tournaments held in Doha and Adelaide. Those wins have taken him up to 16 in the world and by reaching the last sixteen of this Grand Slam, he was won all 11 of his singles matches this year. He's carrying on the good form he showed at the end of 2019 with an unbeaten run in the Davis Cup, winning a tournament held in Moscow and reaching the last sixteen of the US Open. His only previous Grand Slam quarter final was at the US Open three years ago. This is the first time he has made it past the third round in this tournament.

Alexander Zverev is the seventh seed but despite winning three Masters titles, he has never made it to the semi-final of a Grand Slam. His best performances since 2014 have been making itt to the last eight of the French Open in 2018 and 2019. His best performance in this tournament was when reaching the last sixteen in 2019 when he lost to Milos Raonic in straight sets.  Zverev took part in the recent ATP Cup and had a nigtmare week losing all three of his matches. He is yet to drpp a set in this tournament but this fourth round tie is his toughest task to date. Rublev is the player in form and can get the win here.
