Amazulu will take on Stellenbosch at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in the PSL on Saturday afternoon. The hosts are currently in eighth place in the league standings, while the visitors are 11th. Amazulu have been much improved this term after a lowly 12th-placed finish last season. However, they will need to find a way to turn one point into three more often if they are to trouble the sides at the top of the league. The hosts claimed just their third victory of the season in their last match, beating Golden Arrows 3-1 on the road. That extended their league run to three matches unbeaten following back-to-back draws against Orlando Pirates and Chippa United. With those results, Amazulu now have a total of six draws this season, which is the most of any side in the top flight. The hosts are also unbeaten at home this season, with two wins and three draws in five games. They also maintained clean sheets in four of those matches. As a result, the home side are the marginal favourites heading into this one. 

Meanwhile, Stellenbosch had a very poor start to the season by their own standards, managing just two wins in their first eight matches. That saw them drop into the bottom four by the start of last month, though since then, they have enjoyed an uptick in their performances. Stellies played out a 0-0 draw away to Chippa United last week, marking their fifth consecutive match unbeaten in all competitions. That run of results also included League Cup wins over Chippa and Polokwane City. Now, with momentum behind them, the visitors will be expecting to start tracking down the sides above them as we reach the midway point of the campaign. While Stellies won the last match between these sides 2-0, they have not won at this venue in their last three visits.
