That said, they are still one of the poorest scorers in the division, struggling to find the right output. Only two teams have scored fewer goals than Alaves’ 19 ahead of this round. Yet, they have been able to find some rhythm on the road with five points from their last four league trips. That included a crucial 3-2 win over Sevilla in their last away league game and a creditable 1-1 draw at European hopefuls Real Sociedad.
