Home favorite Jack Draper outplayed Jenson Brooksby in the first round to advance at the ATP London. With a 6-3, 6-1 win, he set up a second-round match against Alexei Popyrin, the second meeting between the two players this year. Below is our preview and a prediction.

Draper has this season broken into the top 10, reached hard court and clay finals, and won his first Masters title. Being tipped as a favorite at ATP London is therefore deserved.

Seven times this season, he won in the second round, and he will be looking to better his quarter-final finish here last season.

Popyrin knows his work is well cut out here. He put up a brave fight in Doha, the first time he met Draper, forcing the second set to a tiebreaker. Still, he suffered a 2-0 loss.

As he looks to get a measure of revenge, Popyrin will also be targeting a good run on grass. His grass campaign started with defeat in the first round at Hertogenbosch.

The Australian, however, had a bright start in London, beating qualifier Aleksandar Vukic in a hard-fought three-set match. That game lasted two and a half hours, and he might feel the effect against a much more superior Draper, who has spent more than one hour less.
