Alexander Zverev vs Karen Khachanov Prediction & Betting Tips - Olympic Tournament Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

There are no ranking points on the line but both Alexander Zverev and Karen Khachanov will want to win Olympic gold. Zverev is the fourth seed for this tournament and the only one of the top 11 left. He takes on 12th seeded Karen Khachanov who is representing the Russian Olympic Committee. Zverev is ranked 20 places higher than his opponent and has already won two titles this year. He's had wins in Acupulco and Madrid and now hopes for success in Tokyo. To get to this final he's had to beat  Lu Yen-hsun, Daniel Elahi Galan, Nikoloz Basilashvili, Jeremy Chardy and then world number one Novak Djokovic in the semi-final.

Karen Khachanov has had four previous matches against Zverev. He's shared those but the last meeting was in 2019 and he was ranked eighth when they last played. Khachanov is in his first final since 2018 when he won three titles. He got to the last eight at Wimbledon this year and that good form has continued in these Olympic Games. This is his first summer Olympics but he did play in the Youth Olympics seven years ago, getting a silver medal in the doubles. He's beaten Yoshihito Nishioka (after losing the first set), James Duckworth, Diego Schwartzmann, Ugo Humbert and Pablo Carreno Busta.  Back Zverev to get the win here.
