Two unseeded players meet in the first round of the Brisbane International. America's Alex Michelsen is up against Christopher O'Connell who will have the home fans cheering him on. Here's our match prediction.
There's a tough second round match for the winner. The victor will face either eighth seed Jordan Thompson or unseeded Matteo Berrettini. Alex Michelsen reached the semi-finals of the ATP Next Gen Finals in his last tournament.
The 20-year-old is 41st in the rankings and in with an outside chance of being seeded for the Australian Open. Michelsen had ended the season well before that with deep runs in both Tokyo and Metz.
