The winner goes into the quarter finals against either fourth seed Alexander Zverev or 15th seeded Karen Khachanov. De Minaur is in the fourth round of this Masters 1000 tournament for the first time and will fancy his chances of making it into the quarter finals. This is an outdoor hard court tournament and the Australian has won a title in Acapulco on this surface. De Minaur is ranked tenth in the world but fifth in the Live ATP Race. Fabian Marozsan is playing in this tournament for the first time in his career.
