Aleksandar Vukic vs Yoshihito Nishioka Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Eastbourne International

Aleksandar Vukic has his second match this week against Yoshihito Nishioka. They meet in the quarter-finals of the Eastbourne International grass court tournament. For the winner, there's a match in the last four against either top seed Taylor Fritz (the only remaining seeded player) or qualifier Shang Juncheng. Sunday's final qualifying round saw these two battle it out for a place in the main draw. Nishioka won that match in straight sets but then Vukic was reinstated as a lucky loser. The Australian has had two good wins over unseeded Fabian Marozsan and third seed Alexander Bublik to reach this quarter-final. He's up to 76th in the live rankings and a win here will see him rise to 68th. He's been busy on grass in recent weeks and this is his second quarter-final, the other being in the Libema Open.

Just as Vukic was surprised to get a reprieve, Nishioka certainly didn't expect to end up facing the Australian in the quarter-finals. The Japanese player is 90th in the live rankings but had slipped out of the top 100. This time last year he was 24th in the world  Between June and August last year he only won one match and it's not been much better in 2024. This is the first time that he's managed to win two main draw matches. After successfully qualifying, Nishioka has beaten wild card Liam Broady and unseeded Marcos Giron after losing the first set. This could be a close match but we go for Vukic to get revenge for his weekend loss to Nishioka.
