Serbian wild card Hamad Medjedovic bids to cause another upset in the Belgrade Open. Round one saw him beat sixth seed Brandon Nakashima and now he faces Aleksandra Kovacevic for a place in the last eight. Here's our match prediction.
Medjedovic is down at 156th in the latest rankings but up to 143rd in the live list. That's down to him winning his first round match in this indoor hard court tournament. The Serb lost the first set to Nakashima but won the next two for the loss of eight games.
He has had some good results recently on the Challenger Tour, getting to the final in Istanbul last month.
Aleksandar Kovacevic climbed back into the top 100 after his first round win over qualifier Branko Duric. He only lost four games and is now 87th in the live rankings. That's still 15 places below the career-high he set in September.
The American had lost eight of his last nine matches before Monday's victory. Last week saw him lose to Kalin Ivanovski who was ranked 928th at the time. This is his first time in the last 16 of an ATP Tour event since the Washington hard court event played in August.
