Ajax vs PFC Ludogorets 1945 Razgrad Prediction & Betting Tips - Europa League

Ajax will be at home on Thursday against Ludogorets looking to see out their Europa League playoff qualifier. The hosts lead the tie 4-1 on aggregate after a dominant performance in the first leg last week. The winner on aggregate at the end of this tie will advance to the group stage. Ajax had a fast start in the first leg and were ahead 3-0 at halftime. Mohammed Kudus scored a hatrick but he has since left the club for West Ham United. Head coach Maurice Steijn will however not be bothered by this as he has enough firepower at his disposal. Ajax have scored two or more goals in the three competitive matches they have played this season. Two of those matches have seen the Dutch side score four times. They will however not need to be as dominant here to go through as they already did the heavy lifting away in Bulgaria. De Godenzonen did not play over the weekend and therefore have had a full week to prepare.

Ludogorets bounced back from the first-leg loss by thumping Beroe 5-0 at home in the league over the weekend. They will need a similar response on Thursday in order to go through. The reigning Bulgarian champions have to win by four clear goals here. It will however not be all doom and gloom if they fail to qualify as they will drop down to the Conference League. The Eagles started their continental journey in the Champions League where they were eliminated in the second round. They defeated Astana 6-3 on aggregate to advance to this round. Ivaylo Petev’s charges have shown numerous times that they are an explosive team. They have scored five goals a match four times in their last 10 outings. The win over Beroe over the weekend ended a two-match losing run for the Razgrad-based side.
