AEK Larnaca vs SC Dnipro-1 Prediction & Betting Tips - Conference League

AEK Larnaca host the first leg of their Europa Conference League (ECL) Knockout Play-off round against Dnipro-1 from Ukraine. The home side are top of Cypriot League One and will go into the Championship Group. They have only lost one Cypriot Cup tie in their last 18 games but last weekend had to come from behind to get a 1-1 home draw with Chloraka who are bottom of the table. In European competition this season AEK lost to Midtjylland in the Champions League qualifiers. Transferred to the Europa League qualifiers, they beat Partizan and in the play-off round beat Dnipro-1 5-1 on aggregate, winning the home leg 3-0. They were only able to finish third in their group behind Fenerbahce and Rennes. It wasn't a successful group with only five points earned and just one at home. 

Dnipro-1 are five points clear at the top of the Ukraine Premier League. They haven't played a competitive fixture since last November when losing 2-1 at Kryvbas. Since then, they have played seven friendlies, winning three of the last four. After playing AEK and losing both legs of their Europa League qualifier, they were moved into the ECL. Dnipro-1 finished second behind AZ (who they only earned a point against in two games) to go into this Knockout Play-off round. They will be playing the return leg in Slovakia so all their matches are technically away games. Back AEK to get a win here.
