Accrington Stanley vs Plymouth Predictions & Betting Tips (League One)

Accrington Stanley slipped to 21st in the League One table after Saturday's games. That took them into the relegation zone and now they host second placed Plymouth Argyle. Accrington lost 1-0 at home to MK Dons (who were in the bottom four at the time) on Saturday as they slipped to their third league loss in four matches. They are only a point from safety but it's going to be a tough task to defeat Plymouth Argyle. The home side are struggling at home with three of the last four League One fixtures being lost. Their only win in the last four at home was over Forest Green Rovers who are stranded at the bottom of the table. Only five of their 18 home league games this season has been won.

Plymouth Argyle could go back to the top of League One if winning this match. They'd overtake current leaders Sheffield Wednesday if they fail to win at fourth placed Barnsley. The weekend saw Plymouth defeat poor old Forest Green 2-0 at home. That was their 17th win from 19 home league games this season. Away form isn't so hot with six wins from 18 with seven draws and five defeats. Three of the last four have been lost and they are only two points clear of third placed Ipswich Town. Those two recent away losses were both by big margins. They lost 5-2 at seventh placed Peterborough and 3-0 at Barnsley who are fourth. Accrington aren't on their level at present and Plymouth can get three important points from this game.
