This Sunday, the most secure address on the planet becomes a fight venue. UFC Freedom 250 takes place on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at the White House in Washington, D.C., with the main card beginning at 8 p.m. ET on the South Lawn. It’s an event tied to America's 250th anniversary celebrations and, not coincidentally, coinciding with President Donald Trump's 80th birthday. The setting alone guarantees this card a place in history. But strip away the marble columns and the motorcades, and you're still left with one of the most stacked lineups of the year.

Topuria vs Gaethje: One Belt Leaves the Lawn

The main event is the lightweight unification fight the division has been begging for. Undefeated champion Ilia Topuria (17-0, 15 finishes) puts his title on the line against interim champ Justin Gaethje, and the buildup has been pure venom.

Topuria has doubled down on his vow to knock Gaethje out in the first round, even claiming Gaethje's game plan makes for "an easy knockout."

Although he may have earned the arrogance. Topuria sensationally knocked out Alexander Volkanovski and Max Holloway in 2024, then moved up to lightweight in 2025 and claimed the title with a stunning first-round knockout of Charles Oliveira at UFC 317.

But Gaethje is the wrong man to write off. The 37-year-old action legend outlasted Paddy Pimblett in their January war to become a two-time interim lightweight titleholder, and he's been campaigning to fight on this lawn since the event was first announced.

Pereira's Shot at Something No One Has Ever Done

The co-main might carry even bigger historical weight. Alex Pereira seeks to become the first three-division champion in the organization's history when he and Ciryl Gane vie for an interim heavyweight title.

A belt that exists because champion Tom Aspinall is recovering from eye injuries suffered from an illegal eye poke during his October title defense against Gane, which was ruled a no-contest.

Dana White isn't downplaying the stakes either, claiming Pereira will surpass Jon Jones in the GOAT conversation if he wins the interim heavyweight title.
