by Thobelani Moyo | by Cydias Aujard

Liverpool is effortlessly breaking the bank
Liverpool have not been shy to spend money in the transfer window this season. The moniker "big money spenders" perfectly suits them at this point, as they have blown an insane £295m in the transfer window. Florian Wirtz makes up most of the reasons why such a large sum has exchanged hands.
Wirtz was recently a Bayer Leverkusen player before joining the Reds this season for a reported record fee of £116m.
Hugo Ekitike is also another name that needs credit for breaking the bank. Ekitike joined Liverpool from Eintracht Frankfurt for £79m.
