Turkey vs. Poland: Turkey is not intimidated by their opponents
Turkey is aware that deep down, they've established themselves as title contenders in this year's FIBA EuroBasket. Ergin Ataman and company were left in the shadows when it came to guessing the main candidates to lift the trophy.
The 12 Giant Men were labeled as dark horses in this competition, but their run in the group stages witnessed them shred that label into pieces. They finished with a perfect 5-0 record and won Group A.
That was more than enough to see them progress to the knockout stages, where they defeated Sweden 85-79 in the Round of 16 to make their first appearance in the quarter-finals since 2009.
Standing in their way of reaching the semi-finals is Poland. Another nation in the EuroBasket that was and still is considered a dark horse is making their second consecutive appearance in the quarter-finals. Can they cause a major upset? Bialo-czerwoni didn't have a great ending in the group stages. France and Belgium defeated them in the final two games. However, wins in their first three games witnessed them settle for second place in Group D.
From there, Igor Milicic's men were at the top of their game against Bosnia & Herzegovina in the Round of 16 and won 80-72 to progress to the next round.

Finland vs. Georgia: Two underdogs aiming to make history
Finland had the basketball world in disbelief in the Round of 16. The Wolf Pack mauled the tournament favorites, Serbia, 92-86, to secure their place in the quarter-finals. That achievement was marked down on paper as one of the biggest upsets in EuroBasket history.
Their participation in the knockout stages was thanks to their solid display in the group stages, which saw them settle for third place with a 3-2 record.
Georgia also proved that they are not a team that can be underestimated after eliminating France in the Round of 16 courtesy of an 80-70 victory.
Group stage-wise, their performance was not jaw-breaking but just fine. They settled for fourth place with a 2-3 record and had better numbers compared to Spain, which finished in fifth place. Germany vs. Slovenia: Is Slovenia the answer to stopping Germany?
Germany has made the world take notice as to why they are the FIBA World Cup champions. The team led by Alex Mumbru has been a force to be reckoned with in the FIBA EuroBasket.
This is a team that has been efficient on the offensive side of things and is averaging 102.3 points per game, which is currently the tournament's best record. Will that be the case when they face Slovenia? Find out what our betting experts have to say in our Germany vs Slovenia prediction.
Their biggest win so far has been a historic 120-57 blowout over Great Britain in the group stages to topping Group B with a perfect 5-0 record.
Die Mannschaft's opponent in the Round of 16 was Portugal. They didn't bargain for a resilient side in that match, but in the end, they managed to secure an 85-58 victory.
Slovenia is tasked with ending Germany's dominance in this competition. However, it won't be as simple as that, considering this is the same team that embarrassed them in a 100-71 defeat in their last competitive match in 2023.
Their aspirations in this year's EuroBasket tournament are set on reaching the semi-finals for the first time since 2017. This is also the same year in which they were crowned champions for the first time.
Observing their performance in the current FIBA EuroBasket edition, they finished in third place in Group D with a 3-2 record and defeated Italy 84-77 in the Round of 16, which explains their presence in the quarter-finals.
