Emma Navarro, the third seed at the Nottingham Open, will face off with unseeded Yuliia Starodubtseva in the second round at the event. The two will be facing off for the first time ever, our prediction favoring Navarro, who has six wins in nine grass matches.

Starodubtseva’s grass season started with a recovery from losing the opening set against Maya Joint in the first round. She hasn’t been able to win consecutive matches on grass in her last 10 outings.

Six defeats in those 10 outings will have her desperate for a rise here. A finalist in Charleston, Starodubtseva has already surpassed her performance in Nottingham last season.

Navarro comes into this match on a losing run, having a 12-13 record. She has, however, done well lately and hopes to better her numbers this week.
