I guess in a way it had to happen sooner or later. Stoke City have been playing game after game with less than 2.5 goals scored in them and if you were looking for goals galore, going to see Stoke play wasn't the best of ideas. Then came their game at Goodison Park on Monday when in an astonishing game, Stoke led twice, trailed once and ended up winning 4-3. That was their second straight win in the Premier League after the 2-0 Boxing Day win over Manchester United. The win took them up to ninth in the table but that's only a point off the top six and six away from the Champions League places. Away from home Stoke have good form with 16 points from 10 games and that's after a disappointing start to the season. The last six away matches have produced 11 points with just the one defeat losing 2-0 at Sunderland after being reduced to ten men. West Brom had a return to form on Monday when they beat relegation threatened Newcastle 1-0 at home. That took them to 13th place and six points above the bottom three. The win ended a run of five league games without a win but they still have their fair share of problems. Berahino isn't being played much and will most likely leave in January and home form is inconsistent with several defeats. Stoke are in form and playing with a lot of flair, I go for an away win here.
