Wales have slipped out of the world's top ten after a terrible run of results. Sunday sees them host Argentina who are sixth in the latest rankings list. Can the Welsh side get a much-needed home win? Read our match prediction.
The home side last played in July with a couple of test matches in Japan. They lost the first of those matches but then got a nine point victory in the second. That win ended a run of 18 losses in full internationals, stretching back to the 2023 Rugby World Cup.
Each of their last nine home Test matches has ended in defeat. Steve Tandy is now in charge of the Welsh team and he will be hoping for some confidence-boosting performances ahead of the Six Nations in early 2026.
Argentina had a mixed summer. June saw them win an away match against the British & Irish Lions. Then the Pumas lost two home matches against an under-strength England team. They also finished bottom of the Rugby Championship.
That was disappointing but Argentina did record wins at home against New Zealand and away in Australia. That is form Wales would love to have had in the past couple of years. We tip Argentina to win and lead at half and full time.
