Both these sides look out of title contention so European qualification is going to be their main aim. PSV are fourth in the Dutch Eredivisie but only four points ahead of their opponents who are sixth. PSV have had a disappointing season having already been knocked out of both European competitions. They are currently five points adrift of the final Champions League position and a point off the one automatic Europa League place. They had been on a run of just two points from three league games but have won the last two, both 3-0. That included a home win over Willem II who are fifth in the league. Away form hasn't been great this season in the league. They have won four, drawn four and lost four. That's the reason they aren't challenging for the title as they have had eight wins out of 11 at home.

Vitesse are five points adrift of the automatic Europa League position. Their current sixth place is enough at present to take them into the Europa League play-offs. They had gone four league and cup games without a win before beating Heerenveen 4-2 at home in their last match. That was their sixth home league win of the season and only two games have been lost. They are without a defeat in their last four home league games, both teams scoring in the last two. PSV could do with a win here but their away form is not inspiring. Back both teams to score in this match.
