Venus Williams vs Angelique Kerber Prediction & Betting Tips - WTA Indian Wells

Between them these two players are 69 years old but we should be in for a treat when Venus Williams takes on Angelique Kerber at Indian Wells. The winner faces either Belinda Bencic or Karolina Pliskova in the semi-final. Williams hasn't had a great 2019 only playing in two tournaments in January. She reached the quarter-finals in Brisbane and then the last 32 at the Australian Open. She's been a revelation this week though with a win over third seed Petra Kvitova in three sets. That was in the second round and she'd had a battle to get that far after a three-set win over Andrea Petkovic in the first round. Williams has two straight sets victories since then but has a tough game against Kerber.

Her opponent is the eighth seed and her best performance this year was a run to the semi-finals in Doha. She's had a tough time getting to this quarter-final with two three-set wins over Natalia Vikhlyantseva (losing the first set) and ninth seed Aryna Sabalenka. This won't be easy for Williams but she seems to be in the better form of these two players at the moment and can reach the semi-final.
