Fourth seed Ugo Humbert faces second-seeded Casper Ruud in the Stockholm Open final. Between them these two players have only lost one indoor hard court match in 2025. Here's our match prediction.
Casper Ruud defeated third seed Denis Shapovalov in Saturday's semi-final. He was in top form and only dropped seven games against the Canadian. It continued his good indoor hard court form this year after being the losing finalist in Dallas earlier this year.
Before his semi-final win, Ruud had beaten Marin Cilic in straight sets and then had to come from a set down to get a quarter-final victory over unseeded Sebastian Korda. He's now 11th in both the live rankings and ATP Race.
This is his sixth match against Humbert and he trails 3-2 with both hard court meetings being lost.
Ugo Humbert is playing only his second indoor hard court tournament of 2025. The other was in February when he won the Marseille title. Now he's in another final but in Saturday's semi-final he was a set down to Holger Rune when his opponent retired.
He also lost a set in his quarter-final when eventually beating unseeded Lorenzo Sonego in three sets after dropping the first. Ruud looks to be in better form and we tip him to win this final.
