The 2025 Women's European Basketball Championship gets underway this week, and in Group A, we will see Turkiye taking on France on Wednesday afternoon. Potanin Perileri are 17th in the world rankings, while Les Bleues are third. Let's get into the match prediction.
Turkiye are set to feature in their 11th consecutive EuroBasket tournament. They have finished 14th in each of the last three tournaments, while their best finish was a silver in 2011.
Potanin Perileri earned their spot in the competition with a perfect six wins from six matches during qualifying, beating all of Slovakia, Romania, and Iceland.

Les Bleues breezed through their qualification group against Latvia, Israel, and Ireland, finishing with six straight wins and a points differential of +309.
France faced Belgium in two warm-up matches this month and split them, one win and one loss. They are 7-3 in their last 10 games since August 2024.
