Unseeded Miomir Kecmanovic bids to reach the last four of the Stockholm Open. To do so, he has the tough task of beating fourth-seeded Tommy Paul in the quarter-finals of this indoor hard court tournament. Here's our match prediction.

Paul is 13th in the latest rankings and can climb to 12th if winning this match. He's 11th in the ATP Live Race but needs a strong end to the season to make it into the Tour Finals. Winning this tournament would certainly boost his chances.

If he does, it'll be his third ATP Tour title of the year and his second on hard courts. So far in this tournament he has had a straight sets win over qualifier Laslo Djere, needing a tie-break in the second set.

World number 55 Miomir Kecmanovic is three places lower in the live list. He's defending the points won when reaching the last four of this tournament in 2023. This run to the quarter-final is a welcome return to form for him.

Before this week, he'd lost six of his last eight matches in ATP Tour singles events. Round one saw him beat fellow unseeded player Cameron Norrie in straight sets, both ending 6-4. He then beat the fifth seed Nicolas Jarry in three sets.

It was the middle one lost by Kecmanovic and he had to go to a tie-break to beat the seed. He actually leads Paul 3-1 in previous meetings, the most recent seeing him win a five-setter in this year's Australian Open.

Four tie-breaks have been played in their last three matches. We go for over 21.5 games to be played in this match.
