No seeded players stand between eighth seed Tommy Paul and the Queen's Club final. The American faces unseeded Alejandro Davidovich Fokina in the quarter-finals of this grass court tournament. Fokina has a terrible recent record against his opponent and our prediction is Paul will win in straight sets.

Either Rinky Hijikata, Ugo Humbert or Hamad Medjedovic will be faced in the last four, all unseeded.

Tommy Paul has won all five of his previous matches against Alejandro Davidovich Fokina. This is their first meeting on a grass court. In the last seven sets that Paul has played against Fokina, his opponent has won just six games. 

Paul was the champion at Queen's Club two years ago but didn't play here last year

So far this week he has beaten Zachary Svajda and Botic van de Zandschulp without losing a set.

Alejandro Davidovich Fokina was 22nd in the last ranking list, six places above Paul. The Spaniard made a poor start to his 2026 grass court season with a first round exit in Stuttgart last week. It has gone better for him this week with straight sets victories over Cameron Norrie and Corentin Moutet.

Last year he won five of his seven grass court matches and he was a quarter-finalist in this tournament four years ago.
