Taylor Fritz vs Juncheng Shang Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Eastbourne International

We're at the quarter-finals stage of the Eastbourne International grass court tournament. Taylor Fritz is the top seed and he faces qualifier Juncheng Shang for a place in the last four. That'll be against either qualifier Yoshihito Nishioka or lucky loser Aleksandar Vukic. Fritz isn't just the top seed in this tournament, he's the only remaining seeded player. The American is 13th in the latest rankings and up a place in the live list. In the Live ATP Race, Fritz is also 12th but winning this tournament can see him climb up to ninth. The 26-year-old reached the last eight at Wimbledon two years ago and loves playing in this tournament. He won the Eastbourne title in both 2019 and 2022. This week he's played just one match and beat unseeded Thiago Seyboth Wild in straight sets. He's in his second straight quarter-final after reaching this stage at Queen's Club last week.

Juncheng Shang was ranked 104th in Monday's ranking list. The 19-year-old was  a career-high 89th last month and is now 91st in the live list. A win over Fritz will see him move into the top 90 for the first time. The Chinese player is also in his second grass court final of the year. His other was on the Challenger Tour in Nottingham where he lost to a player ranked outside the top 500. He's in better form this week though had to come from a set down to Oscar Otte in the first qualifying round. In the main draw, he's beaten seventh seed Tomas Martin Etcheverry and Emil Ruusuvouri, both going to a final set. We tip Fritz to win in straight sets.
