Tanzania - Congo DR: Form Analysis
Tanzania got their AFCON tournament started in the worst way possible, as they were no match for Morocco and suffered a 3-0 defeat. While many did not expect them to pose much of a challenge to the Atlas Lions, the manner in which they slumped to defeat was alarming, managing just two touches in their opponents' box throughout the match. However, they fared much better in match two against Zambia, managing six shots at goal, including an early strike by Simon Msuva, which opened their account in this competition. Despite going a man down, Zambia fought back and found an equaliser two minutes before the end, snatching two points away from the Taifa stars. Still, that point keeps Tanzania alive in this group, and if they win here, they will be in a very good spot to claim a top-two finish.
Meanwhile, DR Congo and Zambia are level on two points each, but Congo are favourites to qualify for the next round with a more favourable fixture. The Leopards drew both their matches so far 1-1. Against Zambia, they dominated the match but were wasteful with their finishing, scoring just once from 25 shots at goal. Their match against Morocco was a much more level affair, and they showed good fight to come from a goal down to take a point off the group favourites. While Congo are heavily fancied to join Morocco in the next round, nothing is certain in this group as yet, and with both matches kicking off simultaneously, The Leopards must treat this as a must-win fixture.

Tanzania & Congo DR Squad Analysis
Tanzania have decided to suspend their manager, Adel Amrouche, following his eight-match ban in the team's loss to Morocco. Miroshi, who was absent in their second game due to a red card, will be eligible to play in the upcoming match. The return of Allarakhia to the squad could potentially be a crucial factor in the team's performance in the last group game.
Tanzania needs to be cautious of the formidable DR Congo pair, including Cedric Bakambu from Galatasaray and Brentford's Yoane Wissa, who prove to be ruthless when presented with scoring opportunities. Meschak Elia showcased his talents coming off the bench in the previous match and is likely vying for a spot in the starting 11 in the upcoming game.
