Tallon Griekspoor vs Aleksandar Vukic Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Libema Open

Defending champion Tallon Griekspoor faces unseeded Aleksandar Vukic in the Libema Open quarter-final. There's a tough semi-final on the way for the winner. Either second seed Tommy Paul or seventh seeded Sebastian Korda will be faced. Griekspoor won this title last year but is only the sixth seed for this grass court tournament. He's down four places to 27th in the live rankings due to his defending all the points he earned for being the 2023 Libema Open champion. In the ATP Live Race, he's in 29th position after reaching this quarter-final. So far in this tournament, he's beaten Miomir Kecmanovic in three sets after losing the first. All three sets in that match saw a tie-break played. Round two was a bit easier for Griekspoor with a straight sets victory over Mackenzie McDonald but another tie-break was needed.

Aleksandar Vukic was ranked 87th in Monday's new ranking list. That's far below the position of 48th he achieved last year. This is his second grass court tournament of the year after reaching the last 16 of the Surbiton Challenger Tour event last week. This is only the second time in 2024 that he's won two matches in the main draw of an ATP Tour event, the other being on clay in Marrakech. Vukic has only played in the main draw at Wimbledon once and got to the second round last year. The Australian has won both of his matches this week in straight sets. He beat fellow Australian Max Purcell and then caused a shock when beating the foouth seeded Karen Khachanov. We tip Tallon Griekspoor to make it to the semi-finals.
