Svetlana Kuznetsova vs Aryna Sabalenka Prediction & Betting Tips - WTA Qatar Open

Aryna Sabalenka is the ninth seed for this WTA tournament in Doha but has made it through to the last four. She takes on unseeded Svetlana Kuznetsova as Sabalenka bids to reach her third WTA final. This week has seen her have some tough matches on the way to this semi-final. After receiving a bye in the first round, the Belarus player had to go to three sets to defeat Anna Kontaveit. It was much easier in the third round as she lost only three games to 15th seeded Maria Sakkari. Not so in the quarter final though as Sabalenka had to come from a set down and a second set tie-break against Zheng Saisai.

34-year-old Svetlana Kuznetsova started the week 46th in the rankings but is 32nd in the live list. 13 years ago she ranked number two in the world and has won 18 titles in his career including two Grand Slams. Injuries have caused her problems in recent years and not since 2017 has she made it past the second round of a Grand Slam event. Svetlana Kuznetsova has shown good form this week though and is yet to drop a set. A busy schedule was made a bit easier when her last sixteen opponent Amanda Anisimova pulled out injured. Kuznetsova then rolled back the years with a straight sets win over fourth seed Belinda Bencic. Sabalenk is the favourite to win here but her opponent is in good form and the tip here is for this match to have over 2.5 sets played.
