by Ian John in League One Predictions
Stevenage welcome Reading in an interesting League One match this weekend. The Boro have won four of their seven home games, losing the other three and lie 15th in the table. The visiting Royals are ninth with 22 points but their record is built on an excellent home record. There’s lots of contradictory data here so what will our prediction be for this game?
Alex Revell has seen his Stevenage side stutter a little this season. Their home form is somewhat average, but it is what is keeping them away from the bottom reaches of the table. The problem is that they have lost four of their last five in the league.
That run includes two home defeats, 2-0 to Cambridge and 4-1 to Bolton, plus a 2-0 loss at Rotherham. They drew 1-1 with Guiseley in the FA Cup First Round last week, but progressed 5-4 on penalties.
Reading boss Ruben Selles knows exactly where his team must improve, and it is away from home. The Royals have won six of seven at home, but have picked up just four points (one win and one draw) from six away games.
They have also conceded a league-high 16 goals on the road. However on a positive note, they have won four of their last five in League and Cup, including a 2-0 win over Fleetwood Town in the FA Cup last weekend.

Our Stevenage vs Reading Prediction
Our prediction for the Stevenage vs. Reading League One match is: Both Teams to Score.
The data for this game was tricky to decipher. Stevenage have decent home form, but not convincing, Reading's away form is poor, but they did win one of their last two on the road. Stevenage tend to score at home, Reading have conceded more away goals than any other League One team. As such, backing both teams to score was the standout option here.
2 Goals Ahead Early Payout

More than 80 leagues and competitions are available on this football promotion from bet365. If the team that you have backed takes a two-goal lead at any point in the game, then your bet is a winner, regardless of the final scoreline. This counts on both single bets and on multiples placed on the full time market, though of course on a multiple it is only the game in question that is marked as a winner, all the other selections still have to win as well.
