The second half of the first round at the 2025 New Zealand Darts Masters gets underway with Stephen Bunting taking on Ben Robb on Friday. The winner of this match between Bullet

Stephen Bunting endured a difficult time in the Premier League this year, but he has been a different beast in the World Series. He is currently the number one seed and has four finals appearances to his name from six events. 

Last week, Bullet eased passed Brody Klinge 6-1 in the opening round and stunned the in-form Josh Rock 6-0 in round two before bowing out to eventual winner Luke Littler in the semis.

Bunting has two World Series titles under his belt this year and a record of 10 wins in his last 15 matches across all competitions. 

Meanwhile, it has been a busy and progressive 2025 for Ben Robb, who has been making strides on the Q-School and Challenge Tours in Europe as well as the DPNZ and ADA circuits at home.

Big Rig's last televised event was back in January, where he lost 6-3 to Dmitry Zhukov in the fourth round of the Q-School - his fourth consecutive defeat at the tournament. 

This is Robbs’ second year competing at the New Zealand Darts Masters following a 6-3 first round elimination at the hand of Gerwyn Price 12 months ago.
