Stefanos Tsitsipas vs Dušan Lajović Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Barcelona

Stefanos Tsitsipas is on course to reach his second successive ATP Tour final. He won the title in Monte Carlo last week and now faces unseeded Dusan Lajovic for a place in the final of the clay court Barcelona Open. Tsitsipas is seeded fifth in this ATP 500 tournament and the winner of this match faces either Casper Ruud or Tomas Martin Etcheverry. Tsitsipas has had to win three matches to get to this semi-final. He beat Seabastian Ofner and Robero Carballes Baena before beating Facundo Diaz Acosta in the quarter-final. He had to battle hard though after dropping the first set. Tsitsipas leads Lajovic 3-1 in previous meetings. His only loss came in their first meeting on grass seven years ago. Since then, the Greek has won three times against Lajovic with two of them being straight sets wins on clay.

Dusan Lajovic is having another successful April. Last year saw him win the Baja Luka clay court tournament and now he's going well in Barcelona. He's 64th in the live rankings and has had a much better tournament than in recent weeks. He came into this tournament having lost his last three matches. In Monte Carlo he didn't even manage to make it out of the qualifying rounds. He had better results earlier this year in South America. Lajovic reached two clay court quarter-finals and has been playing well again this week. He beat sixth-seeded Ugo Humbert and Alejandro Davidovich-Fokina (seeded 11th) to reach the last eight. Another seed was beaten in the quarter-finals as he defeated 16th seeded Arthur Fils. This is tougher and we tip Tstistpas to win in straight sets.
