In a rematch of last season's final, eighth-placed Stade Toulousain tackle ninth-ranked Bordeaux Begles in this Top 14 matchday six fixture on Sunday. Can the defending champions overcome Les Girondins to relaunch themselves into the title race? Here is our prediction for the match. 

After winning their two opening Top 14 matches, Stade Toulousain have struggled for results lately. They have lost two of their last three league matches, including a 40-26 away defeat to Aviron Bayonne in their last outing. 

The defeat to Bayonne has seen the defending champions fall five points behind the playoff spots. However, the Red and Blacks have won their last four home league matches (excluding last season's final against Bordeaux Begles). They have also won 11 of their last 13 home matches against Bordeaux Begles. 

Bordeaux Begles have been trapped in a win-loss cycle since the start of the season. They defeated Lyon 32-20 at home in their most recent fixture, but have lost two of their last four matches. 

The Girondins have also struggled with a run of dismal results on the road. They have lost both of their away matches this season, and are on a four-match away losing streak in the league back to the previous campaign (excluding last season's final versus Stade Toulousain).
