Sebastian Korda is a strong favorite to reach his second successive grass court semi-final. The unseeded American is up against qualifier RInky Hijikata in the last eight of the Cinch Championships. A tough semi-final awaits the winner with the remaining seeds in this half of the draw being top seed Carlos Alcaraz and fifth seeded Tommy Paul. There's also BOSS Open winner Jack Draper in the top half of the draw. Last week saw Korda get to the final of the grass court Libema Open where he was beaten by Alex de Minaur. He's now 23rd in the rankings which is a career-high. Beating Hijikata will see him rise to 20th in the live rankings. This week at Queen's Club, he's beaten Karen Khachanov and third seed Grigor Dimitrov, the latter in three sets.

Rinky Hijikata has made it through to the last eight after winning four matches. The world number 98 had to play two qualifying matches and won both of them in straight sets. Round one saw him take on Frances Tiafoe and it was a set apiece and 1-0 to Hijikata when his American opponent retired. That took him into a match with unseeded Matteo Arnaldi who had beaten Ugo Humbert in the first round. Hijikata kept his winning run going with a straight sets win. it was close though and both sets were decided by a tie-break. Those wins have taken the Australian to 75th in the live rankings. We tip Korda to end his run and win in straight sets.
