Second seed Casper Ruud faces unseeded Sebastian Korda in the last eight of the Stockholm Open. The only other remaining seed in the bottom half of this indoor hard court tournament is Denis Shapovalov. Here's our match prediction.
Casper Ruud began his European Open campaign with a straight sets win over unseeded Marin Cilic. He needed to win a tie-break to take the first set but only lost two games in the next. Ruud is now 12th in the live rankings and a place higher in the ATP Race.
This year has seen Ruud reach two ATP Tour semi-finals with a best of a final in Dallas. This is his second match against Korda. The other was played in Madrid this year with Korda winning in straight sets but that was on clay.
Sebastian Korda has had to play for nearly five hours to reach this quarter-final. The American has beaten seventh-seed Alexei Popyrin and unseeded Kamil Majchrzak. Both matches went to three sets with 61 games played.
Korda is now 56th in the live list and this is his fifth ATP hard court quarter-final of 2025. He's reached one final doing so in Adelaide nine months ago.
