Group B’s final matchday in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup will see France’s Paris Saint-Germain test their chances of survival against the USA’s Seattle Sounders. This match at Lumen Field in Seattle on Monday between the bottom-of-the-table Sounders and the second-placed Les Parisiens comes with our prediction of both teams scoring.

Seattle have no points after two losses, while PSG have three points and are only ahead of Atletico Madrid on head-to-head points. Botafogo are the table toppers and they play Atletico at the same time in the other match.

Consecutive defeats to Botafogo (2-1) and Atletico Madrid (3-1) have put the Sounders on the brink of elimination in this competition. Their only chance of survival is a win by a heavy margin and hope Atletico are beaten by Botafogo to force a three-way tie for the second spot.

Those hopes need a reality check, though, as Seattle have won only two of their last eight matches (W2, D1, L5) in all competitions.

A 1-0 loss to Botafogo on matchday two with a revamped side put PSG in a tricky position, although a 4-0 win over Atletico still keeps them in second place.

The French side had won six games in a row prior to that defeat, each time scoring at least twice, so a bounce back is likely on the cards.
