The San Antonio Spurs are set to host the Toronto Raptors at Frost Bank Center in an NBA cross-conference clash. The Spurs currently lead at the top of the Western Conference table, while the Raptors are in ninth place in the Eastern Conference. Here's our match prediction. 

The San Antonio Spurs enter the second match of a three-game homestand riding a wave of momentum. Mitch Johnson's men have begun the current season on a positive winning their first three games.

Last time out, they managed to recover from a 26-point lead they had blown in the fourth quarter to beat the Brooklyn Nets 118-107 in front of their home crowd.

As expected, Victor Wembanyama led the team with 31 points, had 14 rebounds, and four assists. Five other players scored in double digits, with rookie Dylan Harper contributing 20 points. 

The Toronto Raptors have had a tricky start to the current campaign and head into the second night of a back-to-back with a 1-2 record in their first three games. 

The Raptors began the season with a 138-118 away victory against the Atlanta Hawks. Instead of building on that result, they lost two consecutive matches. 

Their recent match was a 139-129 away defeat against the Dallas Mavericks. Scott Barnes led the team with a game-high 33 points and had 11 rebounds. Brandon Ingram contributed 22 points.
