Ryan Searle and Chris Landman will face off on Day 2 at the 2026 PDC World Darts Championship on Friday. The winner of this match between Heavy Metal and The Countryman will meet either Brendan Dolan or Tavis Dudeney in the second round. Let’s get into the match prediction.
Ryan Searle has been one of the most consistent performers on the PDC Pro Tour over the past decade and reached the fourth round of this competition last season before losing to Ryan Joyce.
Heavy Metal won the Players Championship 4 in February and edged Mario Vandenbogaerde for the PC28 title in Leicester, taking him to seven PDC ranking titles in total.
Searle reached the third round of the PC finals last month. He has won three of his four previous matches against this opponent.
Meanwhile, Chris Landman made his Ally Pally debut last season, but was unable to make much of an impact, having lost to Lok Yin Lee 3-1 in the opening round of the competition.
