RC Toulonnais vs Racing 92 Prediction & Betting Tips - Top 14

12th-placed RC Toulon host ninth-placed Racing 92 in this Top 14 matchday seven clash on Sunday. The Red and Blacks will look to bounce back against the Sky Blue and Whites after their recent setbacks. Here is our prediction for the match.

RC Toulon fell 27-10 to Clermont last week. The Toulon-based side played out a 7-7 draw against the hosts in the second half but a decisive 20-3 scoreline saw them collapse to their second defeat in three matches. They have dropped to ninth in the rankings with 17 points – four behind the top two – following the defeat. 

However, we expect Pierre Mignoni's side to return to winning ways against Racing 92. They have won both of their Top 14 home matches this season, including their last two home encounters with Racing 92. 

Racing 92 defeated Montpellier 32-25 in their last outing. Le Racing leveraged their numerical advantage in the second half to overcome the Montpellier-based rival after an evenly matched first half. This result saw them return to winning ways after losing their previous match.

The Nanterre-based side have won four of their six matches this season, but have failed to impress in their recent away matches. They have lost two of their three away fixtures this season and will face a huge challenge in overturning their poor recent record away to RC Toulon.
