Poland vs France Prediction & Betting Tips - United Cup

Poland are the favorites to win the 2024 United Cup. They take on France in the first semi-final with the winners facing either Greece, Germany or hosts Australia. Poland are in their second semi-final in this competition and hoping to go one better this time around. The Poles won both of their group games against Brazil and Spain with world number one Iga Swiatek in top form. Wins came against Beatriz Haddad Maia and Sara Sorribes Tormo with only seven games being lost in her two straight sets victories. Another win came for her in the quarter finals, this time beating Zheng Qinwen for the loss of only five games. Swiatek will face Caroline Garcia in her singles match in this tie. The French player has also won all three of her singles matches so far but dropped a set in each of them.

With Swiatek our tip to beat Garcia who she leads 3-1 in previous meetings. That will see France having to win the other two matches if they want to reach the final. The men's singles is likely to see Adrian Mannarino take on Poland's Hubert Hurkacz. Mannarino has lost two of his three singles matches, only getting a win over Lorenzo Sonego and losing to Alexander Zverev and Casper Ruud. Hurkacz has a 2-1 record and is 2-2 in previous matches against Mannarino. If it does come down to a deciding mixed doubles match, the team of Swiatek have won both their matches in straight sets including a 6-0 6-0 win against Spain. We tip Poland to reach their first United Cup final.
