Poland face Estonia in the Euro 2024 Playoff Qualifiers on Thursday night and the Poles are the hot favourites to move through to the Path A Final, where either Wales or Finland will host the Poles in the final qualifier in Cardiff or Helsinki. The Polish side are unbeaten at home since November 2022, when the Netherlands defeated them in the Nations League. It was their away form in the Euro 2024 qualifiers that proved to be their downfall and meant that they were forced to qualify via the playoffs. Having beaten Estonia's neighbours Latvia 2-0 in their final warm up game last November, the Poles should be very confident of landing the win against their Baltic rivals.

Estonia qualified for this playoff berth by virtue of their Nations League performances. Their recent form against better quality opposition leaves a lot to be desired and it is easy to see why they are the longest price of any team in the Euro 2024 playoffs to win their first leg game.  They have no wins in their last 11 games and only two draws during that run, one away to Azerbaijan, the other at home to Thailand. They've suffered 5-0 defeats to Sweden and Belgium during that sequence, and have all their last three - against Austria and Sweden twice. The data does not show any real optimism for Estonia fans here and as such, it could be a long evening for those that make the trip south to Warsaw to watch their National Team in action.
