The Thunder have begun the season with the same form that saw them emerge as champions last season. Mike Daigneault’s men have won five matches and are one of only four teams remaining with a 100% win record.

However, despite their strong start, they have struggled on both ends of the court and are still finding their rhythm. The Thunder, who are averaging 118 points, are shooting 45.6% from the field and below 30% from three. Last time out, OKC defeated the visiting Kings 107-101.

The Wizards have won just one of their four games to start the new season. This win, against Dallas, came in their first road game in the West.

Brian Keefe’s men, who are on a two-game skid, are coming off a 139-134 OT loss at home to the Sixers. The loss to Philly was the third game this season that the Capital franchise has allowed over 130 points.

Washington is averaging 121 points, which is good for 11th in offensive rating. Defensively, however, they rank second from bottom.
