The high-flying OKC Thunder welcome the Portland Trail Blazers in their next assignment in the NBA. Currently, with the best record in the Western Conference, the Thunder are 14 games ahead of the Blazers, who are in 10th place. Read on to find our prediction for this match.

The Thunder have stuttered in recent outings, which is a rare thing to say about the NBA’s top team. Mike Daigneault’s men have been defeated in half of their last eight outings, with three of those setbacks coming against the same team.

They, however, seem to have settled their nerves, seeing as they have emphatically won their last two games. OKC, who have compiled the best record with 28 wins from 32 games, are coming off a 140-129 victory over the Hawks.

The Blazers have lost the last two meetings with the Thunder. They lost by 27 points the last time they were in Oklahoma.

Before both setbacks, Thiago Splitter’s men were in the doldrums, but now they arrive seemingly in slightly better form. The Blazers have won their last two games, with one of those successes coming against a strong Boston Celtics team.

Portland snapped a three-game skid with a 114-108 victory over Boston and followed that up with a close 125-122 success over Dallas. Both wins came at home and saw them improve to 14-19.
