Nuno Borges vs Felix Auger Aliassime Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Halle Open

Second seed Felix Auger-Aliassime faces unseeded Nuno Borges in round one of the grass court Halle Open. Auger-Aliassime has been far more consistent than his opponent so far this year and our prediction is that he will reach round two without dropping a set.

The winner will face unseeded opposition in round two, either Learner Tien or Max Schoenhaus.

Last week saw both of these players take part in the Libema Open. After a win over Marton Fucsovics, Auger-Aliassime was beaten by the eventual champion Kamil Majchrzak. The Canadian remains fourth in the rankings, 46 places above his opponent.

He won six of his ten grass court matches last year with a best of a semi-final in Mallorca.

The pair are 1-1 in previous meetings. This is their first match on grass.

The win for Borges came in this year's Australian Open when his opponent retired.

Borges has only won 14 of his 32 matches this year. Two ATP Tour quarter-finals have been reached by the Portuguese player but he has lost in round one on five occasions. In last week's Libema Open, he beat Terence Atmane before losing in three sets to Marin Cilic.

He had a 4-4 record on grass last year and his only previous appearance here saw him lose in round one.
