Nuno Borges vs Terence Atmane Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Libema Open

The grass court season gets underway this week with the Libema Open. Nuno Borges takes on fellow unseeded player Terence Atmane in round one. Atmanee is only just below his opponent in the rankings but he has never won an ATP Tour grass court match, hence our prediction of a Nuno Borges victory.

The winner will be up against either seventh seed Denis Shapovalov or unseeded Marin Cilic in round two.

Nuno Borges has won only 13 of his 30 matches this year. He reached round three at Roland Garros and now begins his grass court campaign. Last year produced a 4-4 record on this surface last year, making it to round three at Wimbledon. 

Borges was a quarter-finalist here last year. 

Terence Atmane has a 11-16 record this year but has an unimpressive grass court record. He has only won four out of 12 matches in his career, all on the Challenger Tour. His last two grass court matches have both been lost.

He is 54th in the live rankings, four below his opponent. Both of his last two grass court  matches featured a tie-break. Borges has played four in his last three on this surface, so a side bet on there being one in this match could well prove profitable.
