It's the home form of Norwich City that will most likely decide whether they can avoid an immediate return to the Championship. They start 2016 three points above the relegation zone and that's probably a situation they'd have settled for when the season begins. Recent results have included draws with Arsenal and Everton and of course that win at Old Trafford. A 3-0 defeat at Spurs was disappointing though no disgrace whatsoever and on Monday they got a vital three points beating Aston Villa 2-0 at home. So far this season they've won three home league games and a few more might just keep them above the bottom three. Southampton fans got the most pleasant shock of their lives when their team thrashed Arsenal 4-0 at home on Boxing Day. That ended a poor run of form and two days later it looked as if things were going to get even better as Tadic put them 1-0 up at West Ham. However, they lost that game 2-1 and that makes this a really important game for them. They start this game in 12th place, seven points above the bottom three and the same number of points off the Europa League places. Another good performance here can really lift the Saints but another defeat will have them looking over their shoulders again. This isn't an easy game to predict but neither side are keeping too many clean sheets at present while finding the net reasonably regularly so I go for both teams to score as the best bet.
