Newcastle fans will definitely recognize a pattern developing. It's January and their side has just had its almost traditional Third Round exit from the FA Cup. Now they face another long battle to try and stay in the Premier League. Their opponents also have plenty of problems after yet more criticism of their playing style (or lack of it). Manchester United eventually got past Sheffield United on Saturday thanks to a late penalty. A really dire display had their fans and former players upset again. That was their second win in a row though and three games without defeat but the goals still aren't flowing for the team. Newcastle have the habit of getting results against top sides and have beaten Liverpool and drawn with Chelsea at home. Man Utd may well be starting a good run but I think the best bet here is on under 2.5 goals to be scored.
