Their woes have been well-reported. Their struggles stem from an erratic away form, which has seen them lose 12 of their last 14 matches. At home, they've also been bad with six wins in their last 21 games.

The Pelicans' recent match was against the Chicago Bulls. They suffered a 134-118 away defeat. That result marked their fifth consecutive loss. This comes after winning each of their last five matches. 

The Portland Trail Blazers, too, have been unable to find a steady rhythm. They have lost four of their last six matches heading into this clash.

In their recent match, they succumbed to a 124-95 away defeat against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Before this result, they were on a two-match winning streak. 

The Blazers enter their second match of three game road trip aiming to return to the winning column. However, that will be easier said than done, having lost four of their last five away matches.
