Reilly Opelka wasn't expecting to be playing in this match. He takes on unseeded Corentin Moutet in round one of the Paris Masters, despite losing in the qualifying rounds. Here's our match prediction.

Opelka won his first qualifying round match but then withdrew from his final qualifier against Aleksandar Vukic. His name went into the lucky loser draw and here he is in round one of this Masters tournament and he's 50th in the live rankings.

The American was a quarter-finalist in Basel last week. As ever, his heavy serve means some long matches and plenty of tie-breaks or 7-5 sets. 20 of his last 24 matches have included at least one so a side bet on that score in each set could well win.

Corentin Moutet is a career-high 31st in the live rankings. He trails Opelka 2-1 in previous meetings and lost the only hard court match. All the previous matches had more than 23.5 games with four tie-breaks played.

The Frenchman was the losing finalist in Almaty a fortnight ago, losing to Daniil Medvedev. Last week saw him make it to the quarter-finals in Vienna, including a revenge win over Medvedev. This could be a long match and we tip more than 23.5 games to be played.
