The Estoril quarter-finalist, who has won four of five matches on clay, is seeking his first semi-final appearance of the season. Advancing to this round has moved him up three places to 79th in the live ranking. Fucsovics defeated Moutet the last time they met, which was two seasons ago in Vienna. A straight-sets victory in the qualifying rounds tied this series at 1-1.
